On the occasion, the Delhi Jal Board (DJB) and the Public Works Department (PWD) will dedicate projects worth over Rs 3000 crore, aimed at transforming the city’s water supply, sewage treatment, drainage, and road infrastructure.
Addressing a press conference at the BJP headquarters here, Union Minister Bhupender Yadav and BJP National General Secretary Sunil Bansal said the programmes, to be held across the country, would take the welfare schemes of the government to the poor.
Under BJP Seva Pakhwada, service will be done at public places including cities, villages, streets, mohallas, majras, chowpalos.
Various welfare activities across the country will be held during the ‘seva pakhwada’, which will begin on September 17 and continue till October 2, the birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi.
