During the court appearance, Sanjeev Arora appeared physically weak with a grown beard and became emotional after meeting his family members. He was seen embracing and consoling relatives outside the courtroom.
The court had earlier sent him to seven days’ ED custody for interrogation in the case.
The Punjab and Haryana High Court posted the matter for further hearing on Monday.
The Enforcement Directorate (ED) has arrested Punjab Cabinet Minister Sanjeev Arora in connection with a high-profile money laundering case following a series of raids conducted at his official residence and other locations.
The project will be implemented over an area of around 46 acres and is expected to generate employment for over 920 persons, providing a significant boost to industrial employment in the region.

Arora began by underlining the urgent need to develop the approximately three-kilometre approach area near Adampur Airport, pointing out that this stretch falls under the jurisdiction of the Ministry of Road Transport & Highways (MoRTH) and it must be taken up by NHAI immediately to ensure safe and efficient airport connectivity.
Senior officers, including Reena Gupta, Chairperson PPCB; Seema Bansal, Vice Chairperson PDC; Priyank Bharti, IAS, Secretary (Science & Technology); Aditya Dhachwal, IAS, Municipal Commissioner Ludhiana; and representatives from Punjab Pollution Control Board, Punjab Water Supply & Sewerage Board, and Department of Local Government, attended the meeting.
BJP's Jiwan Gupta finished third with 20,323 votes, and Shiromani Akali Dal's Parupkar Singh Ghuman received 8,203 votes.
