Maharashtra Minister for Social Justice Sanjay Shirsat alleged here on Friday that arrested TCS Nashik sexual exploitation and conversion accused Nida Khan had received help from former All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM) MP Imtiyaz Jaleel, for allegedly helping her to evade the police, and hence he must be investigated under the Maharashtra Control of Organised Crime Act (MCOCA).
Sanjay Shirsat stated that given the fund crunch it would not be possible to increase the monthlay payment to women under the Laadki Bahin Yojana.
Shirsat said that he is angry about the diversion of Rs 413.30 crore from the allocation to the social justice department, which he heads. Shirsat said that he would raise the issue with Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis.
