The Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) on Saturday strongly refuted Congress leader Rahul Gandhi’s allegation that External Affairs Minister (EAM) S Jaishankar had informed Pakistan before the launch of Operation Sindoor, calling it an "utter misrepresentation of facts."

External Affairs Minister (EAM) S. Jaishankar on Thursday evening spoke with Amir Khan Muttaqi, the Acting Foreign Minister of Afghanistan, appreciating the ruling regime's condemnation of the April 22 Pahalgam terrorist attack and outright dismissal of attempts being made to create distrust between Kabul and New Delhi.
"The only thing which remains to be discussed on Kashmir is the vacating of illegally occupied Indian territory in Pakistan-occupied Kashmir; we are open to that discussion," Jaishankar said.
