PM Modi congratulated the Jammu & Kashmir cricket team for its historic first-ever Ranji Trophy triumph, calling it a proud moment for the region and an inspiration for young athletes.
Opener Qamran Iqbal starred for J&K, remaining unbeaten on 94, just six runs short of a century, while Sahil Lotra supported him with 16 not out as the visitors tightened their grip on the match.
