The government has notified Sir Ganga Ram City Hospital, Max Saket, Fortis Vasant Kunj and Batra Hospital Tughlakabad for the treatment of Omicron on payment basis with immediate effect. With addition of these four private hospitals, now the new Covid variant Omicron will be treated in total five hospitals in Delhi.
The reports suggest that majority of the incidents occurred in March and April this year when the country descended into the deadly second wave.
Dr. Yadav has said in a letter to all the hospitals that they can start the Covid-19 vaccination for the age group of 18 to 44 years in the hospital for 24x7 a day.

The civic body last month appointed auditors for various private hospitals after receiving complaints of overcharging by some facilities for coronavirus treatment.
The MHA also said, quick delivery of results in Delhi, testing via Rapid Antigen testing methodology was started on Thursday.
