“Following the Chief Minister’s approval, the government has issued the official order. This decision will immediately benefit more than 1.25 lakh families in the capital,” an official statement said on Monday.
The officials are expecting the state government to take a policy decision to link the electricity consumer numbers of the consumers with their Aadhaar numbers.
