The company's revenue from operations rose by more than 16% annually to Rs 21,847 crore, while its operating margins improved to 12.60% in Q3FY26 compared to 12.07% in Q3FY25.
Consolidated revenue from operations fell by 8.9% to Rs 12,451 crore year-on-year (Y-o-Y) from Rs 13,671 crore and on a sequential basis, revenue dropped 7.5% from Rs 13,456.84 crore.
On a quarter-over-quarter (QoQ) basis, net profit rose by 47.8 per cent from Rs 2,649 Crores in Q2 FY26 to Rs 3,916 crores in Q3 FY26.
The company reported a robust turnaround in its Q2FY26 performance, driven by higher volumes, improved operational efficiency and reduced finance costs, according to its official statement.
LIC's net profit amounted to Rs 21,040 crore, marking a 16.36 per cent increase year-on-year (Y-o-Y), in the first six months of FY26 (H1FY26).
According to an official statement, the company’s total revenue from operations in Q2FY26 increased by almost 9% to Rs 14,478.31 crore from Rs 13,291.39 crore, on an year-on-year (YoY) basis.
"The emerging core infra businesses have recorded half-yearly EBITDA of Rs 5,470 crore with an increase of 5% on a year-on-year basis and now contribute 71% to total EBITDA," the company stated in a stock exchange filing.
The increase in profit was largely driven by a one-time Rs 1,697 crore income tax provision reversal, the company stated
The total income for the period under review was Rs 1,002 crore, as compared to Rs 694 crore.
