In a statement issued by its Polit Bureau, the CPI(M) said the alleged leak had pushed nearly 22 lakh medical aspirants into severe mental distress despite students having no role in the controversy.
When asked if someone in the NTA could be involved in the paper leak, Singh said that the CBI will arrest whoever is involved in the leak.
Acting on intelligence inputs from the Rajasthan Police, the Nashik City Crime Branch arrested Shubham Khairnar in connection with the paper leak.
Demanding urgent corrective measures, he said that both NEET and the NTA must be scrapped.
