The NEET-UG 2026 controversy has exposed deep cracks in India’s exam system, with investigators tracing encrypted leak networks, insider access and multi-state circulation chains.
This comes after reports of a possible paper leak came from Rajasthan after the NEET-UG 2026 examination held on May 3. The Rajasthan Special Operations Group (SOG) had launched an investigation into the allegations.
The apex court issued a notice to the NTA on a petition that alleged an “inconsistent” calculation of marks on the OMR sheets used for the NEET-UG 2024 exam held on May 5, 2024.
"This belated whitewashing exercise is of no consequence as countless youths continue to suffer!" Kharge said.
Pradhan said the government is ready to rectify the system and urged not to politicise the issue.
The protestors raised slogans against the minister and demanded justice for the students who appeared for the NEET-UG and UGC-NET exams.
Aam Aadmi Party has demanded a Supreme Court monitored probe into the matter.
The party also announced that it will hold protests across the country on 19th June.
