The second phase of the ongoing Naval Commanders' Conference, 2025, started at Nausena Bhawan here today.
The Commanders will also review the ongoing Naval projects with a focus on enhancing indigenisation through 'Make in India' in consonance with the vision of achieving complete ‘AatmaNirbharta’ by 2047.
'India has never been the aggressor but its armed forces are capable of giving a befitting reply to those who cast evil eyes on us,' the minister said while addressing the media at the three-day Naval Commanders conference in Delhi.
Defence Minister Nirmala Sitharaman also pushed for greater enrolment of women in the Navy in her address to the top naval brass at the Naval Commanders Conference.
