According to data available with the State Election Commission (SEC), Trinamul Congress got 62.44 per cent of the votes, BJP 13.42 per cent, CPI-M 11.83 per cent and Congress 5.06 per cent votes.

The Haryana government has imposed a ban on posting and transfer of officers or officials connected with the work of Municipal elections until the declaration of election results.
Officials said 1,029 candidates - 881 in Jammu division and 148 in Kashmir division - are in the fray for 263 municipal wards, including 49 in Kashmir and 214 in Jammu.
The second phase of polling will be undertaken on October 10, followed by third phase on October 13 and fourth and final on October 16, an official said.
