First picture of India’s SAFFRON bullet train unveiled; Railways hopeful of starting services this year

This tunnel is 454 metres long with a width of 14.4 metres, and will accommodate both up and down tracks for the Mumbai–Ahmedabad Bullet Train project.
In a post on X, Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw said, “‘Make in India’ powers the Bullet Train project. Installation of overhead electrification masts is progressing well on the Mumbai–Ahmedabad Bullet Train project.”
The bridge on Vishwamitri river in Vadodara district, Gujarat has been completed for the Mumbai-Ahmedabad Bullet Train project. This is the seventeenth river bridge completed out of the planned 21 river bridges in Gujarat for the project.
