With his explosive half-century, skipper Marsh helped Australia finish their campaign in the T20 World Cup on a strong note, underlining the dominance of Australia's bowling attack over Oman, with Adam Zampa being the standout bowler.
“We'll certainly see him come back into contention over the next few games," he told reporters.
He was rested after the Adelaide Test with the Ashes secured, with a view to rebuilding for the T20 World Cup.

Chasing a modest 126, Australia crossed the finish line with 40 balls to spare, thanks to a strong start from Travis Head (28) and Marsh, whose fluent strokeplay set the tone early.
“We had two World Cups where we didn’t quite go all the way. And I guess we spoke about wanting to challenge ourselves as a team to what we think can win us the World Cup,” Marsh said at the pre-series press conference on Tuesday.

Kohli and Rohit are set to play their first ODI since the ICC Champions Trophy final in March, marking a significant reunion at the top level.
Fresh off a 5-0 whitewash of West Indies in the T20I series last month, Australia will welcome back a few familiar faces, including Head, for their series against the Proteas.
