Addressing a press conference here, Sachdeva said that the BJP contested the by-elections to the Municipal Corporation of Delhi with utmost sincerity, winning seven of the twelve wards.
The results for these by polls will be declared on December 3.
Yadav said voters should take into account issues such as rising pollution, crumbling roads, poor transport, deteriorating law and order, and ‘false promises’ related to monthly allowances for women and subsidised cooking gas.
Atishi, who led multiple road shows for AAP candidates for 's MCD byelections, told voters that these elections have become a moment for course correction, claiming that people are determined to return to Arvind Kejriwal’s model of governance.
Gupta emphasised that this upcoming byelection is not merely about choosing representatives but will determine the direction in which the city progresses.
Delhi BJP spokesperson Praveen Shankar Kapoor on Sunday alleged that although the MCD byelection on 30 November is only for 12 wards but frustration is visible among the AAP leaders.
Taking a dig at the opposition, Gupta stated that the people of Delhi are well aware of their false promises and misleading propaganda, adding that, “We do not make empty announcements; we deliver results.”
The polling will be conducted in a single phase, commencing at 10:30 am and continuing until 5:30 pm without any breaks, as noted by the state election commission in an official order dated October 28.
