India adds record 44.5 GW renewable capacity in 2025, achieves major clean energy milestone

The country added 44.5 GW of renewable energy during the year (up to November), nearly doubling the capacity added during the same period in 2024, according to the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy (MNRE).
