Former India wicketkeeper Dinesh Karthik has been appointed mentor and batting coach of the men's Hundred side London Spirit, marking his first support-staff assignment with a franchise outside the Indian Premier League (IPL).

The Hundred, starting in 2020, is a new tournament consisting of eight city-based franchise sides, breaking away from the traditional county system.
