Congress leader KC Venugopal on Friday singled out his INDIA Bloc partner, the Communist Party of India (Marxist), for having a deal with the Bharatiya Janata Party.
In response to questions on seat-sharing with the SP, he said, “It is in the final stage. Anytime it can be finalized. The discussion is going on.”

The meeting was in connection with the upcoming Bharat Jodo Yatra in the third week of January. The meeting lasted for over half an hour.
Venugopal is expected to hold a meeting of the 35-member committee on 'Bharat Jodo' Yatra at 3.30 p.m. with both the leaders in attendance.
He had previously met Gandhi on Monday to discuss the political turmoil in Rajasthan. Venugopal's meeting with Gandhi came a day before the final date for filing nominations for the top post in the Congress party.
