Siliguri surgeon sets world record in laparoscopic surgery

Dr Ranjan Paul Chowdhury, a senior consultant surgeon from Siliguri, has brought international recognition to Indian medical science by entering the International Book of Records for performing the fastest laparoscopic cholecystectomy (gallbladder removal surgery).
