Thai authorities are probing a mysterious incident in Phuket after four Indian tourists collapsed at a cafe, leaving one dead and three under medical observation.
An Indian national was killed in Riyadh in Saudi Arabia, taking to six the number of Indian fatalities in the ongoing war in West Asia.
The Embassy named Puerto Vallarta, Guadalajara and Reynosa among affected areas, asking citizens to avoid highways, crowds and active security zones as unrest spreads across multiple Mexican states.
"Under the Vienna Convention, diplomatic premises are inviolable and must be protected. Accordingly, we have taken up the matter strongly with Croatian authorities, both in New Delhi and in Zagreb and asked them to hold the perpetrators accountable for their reprehensible and illegal actions," it said.
According to the Embassy, the matter is expected to undergo judicial proceedings in Iran.
Senior Taliban member Mufti Noor Ahmad Noor has arrived in New Delhi to take charge as Charge d’Affaires at the Afghan Embassy, amid growing India-Afghanistan engagement.
The Indian Consulate in Jeddah issued a statement expressing deep condolences to the families of the victims.
Jaishankar reaffirmed India’s commitment to Afghanistan’s sovereignty, territorial integrity, and independence, adding that closer cooperation between the two nations will bolster national development, regional stability, and resilience.

The Embassy has also provided a helpline number and an email address for Indian nationals in the event of an emergency.
