The false claim surfaced after several posts circulated on social media platforms, including one by an account named Baba Thoka, alleging that Sunita Dwivedi had sought divorce after discovering an alleged relationship between General Dwivedi and his stenographer Anita Yadav.

The run was organised by the Indian Army to commemorate the 79th Shaurya Diwas (previously known as Infantry Day) celebrations.
The situation is being closely monitored in coordination with the National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) and respective state governments.
