New Act renaming India International Arbitration Centre comes into force

The new law titled the 'New Delhi International Arbitration Centre (Amendment) Act, 2022', came into force after the Ministry of Law and Justice in a notification issued late January 27 night made the announcement.

RS passes bill to change name of International Arbitration Center

During the discussion on the bill in Parliament, the government assured that no compromise would be made with the authority, independence and credibility of the International Arbitration Center of India. After this, the bill was passed by voice vote.
