Directing the officials to expedite deportation procedures, Suvendu Adhikari stated that the BJP government in the state does not intend to keep such individuals in detention or spend public funds on their upkeep.
The Delhi Police have arrested three illegal Bangladeshi nationals involved in begging and other criminal activities in the city. The arrests were made in the Mukherjee Nagar area, police officials said on Saturday.
"People who are staying in India illegally, whether they happen to be Bangladeshi nationals or any other, will be dealt with as per law," he stressed.
Meghalaya Police have dismantled a transnational criminal network engaged in human trafficking, identity fraud, and financial crimes, following the arrest of three Bangladeshi nationals in Mumbai.
