Jharkhand is the focus state of IITF this year. The state is showcasing government initiatives, artisan products, and convincing the visitors to consider it a major tourist destination.
A massive public footfall was witnessed at the ongoing 44th India International Trade Fair (IITF) 2025 on Sunday with thousands of visitors exploring the exhibitions at different pavilions with great curiosity and interacting with exhibitors at various stalls.
The Pavilion showcased innovative and contemporary Khadi offerings that have emerged as a global brand under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
During this business period, several interactions took place.
The event was also attended by Shobha Karandlaje, Minister of State in the Ministry of MSME and Ministry of Labour and Employment, and Manoj Kumar, Chairman of the Khadi and Village Industries Commission (KVIC).
The pavilion, designed as a citizen-centric awareness hub, features four thematic stalls dedicated to key policing and public-safety initiatives, including new criminal laws, Anti-Narcotics Task Force operations, cybercrime awareness, and welfare activities of the Police Family Welfare Society (PFWS), an official said.
The minister highlighted that EPFO has long served as a pillar of financial security for crores of workers across the country.
The inaugural ceremony commenced with the lighting of the traditional lamp followed by collective singing of Vande Mataram to mark 150 years of the national song.
