In view of the prevailing circumstances and in the larger public interest, the New Delhi Municipal Council (NDMC) has issued a circular to facilitate the speedy expansion of Piped Natural Gas (PNG) connections within its jurisdiction by Indraprastha Gas Limited (IGL)
The government has appealed to residents not to pay attention to rumours being circulated about gas supply and avoid unnecessary panic buying or hoarding.

Mr. Singh highlighted that IGL is exploring the possibility of putting up a Green Hydrogen generation plant for blending with Natural Gas.
Under the alliance, IGL and Kinetic will roll out a deep network of battery swapping stations, starting with the Delhi region, where a range of electric three wheelers and electric two wheelers can avail battery swapping facility.
Of the 55 operational CNG stations, 44 are located in Delhi, five in Ghaziabad, three in Noida, two in Greater Noida and one in Gurugram.
