Humayun Kabir has claimed that he was not at home when police personnel visited his place and is not aware about the notices issued to him.
After reading out two statements made by Humayun Kabir, Suvendu Adhikari said, "Enough is enough. The time has come to teach such people a lesson."
"If he and his team thought that they will do anything like in the previous government and they will do anything like in the previous government, they are living in a fool's paradise," BJP MLA Ritesh Tiwari said.
Kabir said that he is ready to resign and ensure Mamata Banerjee is elected from Rejinagar.
Humayun Kabir made the statement earlier in response to the Suvendu Adhikari-led government's May 13 notice on 'Animal Slaughter Guidelines'.
