Korea, meanwhile, will head into the contest on the back of a mixed run — a 7-0 win against Chinese Taipei, a 1-4 loss to Malaysia, and a 5-1 victory over Bangladesh.
India is placed in Pool A alongside Japan, China and Kazakhstan, and will begin their campaign against China on August 29, before facing Japan on August 31 and Kazakhstan on September 1.
