A clash had broken out between two groups over parking which led to the vandalism of a temple on June 30 in the Hauz Qazi area.
Union Health Minister and Chandni Chowk MP, Harsh Vardhan, who visited the area, said he could not visit the place earlier as the Parliament session is continuing.
This was followed by a minor scuffle over parking a scooter between two individuals belonging to different communities which soon took a communal shape.
