The Indian Consulate General in Jeddah has set up a camp office in the Indian Haj Pilgrims Office, Madinah, for extending assistance to the families of the Indian Umrah pilgrims who died in a bus accident.
“I pray for the successful pilgrimage of the blessed pilgrims who are embarking upon the sacred journey for performing the Haj,” said Manoj Sinha.
Delhi Haj Committee has also taken several initiatives for the ease of pilgrims including a special camp to boost physical fitness.
The process has been started today to immediately refund the full amount of money deposited by the applicants without any deduction.
A total of 1,75,025 Indians will be going for Haj this year, of which 1,28,702 pilgrims will be travelling through the Haj Committee of India.
