The CM said that the move will not only accelerate good governance but also expedite the implementation of various government schemes, ensuring their timely completion.
Chief Minister Gupta announced on Saturday that the DJB can now sanction projects exceeding ₹50 crore without requiring prior Cabinet approval.
"An enabling provision of Emergency Financial Powers to the field formations below Command level for the defence services has now been incorporated in the Emergency Powers Schedule which till present was available to Vice Chiefs and C-in-Cs/equivalent,"
