A bench of Justice Surya Kant and Justice Nongmeikapam Kotiswar Singh noted that a mere compilation of cases cannot justify omnibus judicial directions as the allegation of fake encounters is serious and merits an impartial examination.
The opposition Congress continued its attack on the ruling BJP in the State Assembly on Tuesday, over what the Congress alleges to be a fake encounter of a tribal man by the police in Mandla district of Madhya Pradesh.
