HBSE Chairman Dr Pawan Kumar said that a total of 2,76,640 students had appeared in the matriculation examinations this year, out of whom 2,47,860 students successfully cleared the exams.
The examination for the ICSE was held between February 17 and March 30, while students appeared for ISC from February 12 to April 6.
Making the announcement on Wednesday in a post on X, Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar said that planned and systematic action is being taken for the upgradation of these prestigious institutions.
The survey notes that in the education space, progress in school and higher education has been at the back of enhanced quality and access through community engagement, effective assessments, improved accountability, and stronger alignment between education and skill requirements.
