LG approves innovative sewerage treatment system to safeguard Ladakh’s ecosystem

In a major step towards protecting Ladakh’s fragile environment by preventing the discharge of untreated wastewater into rivers, Lieutenant Governor Vinai Kumar Saxena has approved the construction of a Decentralised Sewage Treatment Plant (DSTP) in Leh at an estimated cost of Rs 9.12 crore.
