The court was hearing a petition seeking to enlarge the functioning of the courts, particularly family courts, in the prevalent times.
The Administrative and General Supervision Committee of the High Court, headed by Chief Justice D N Patel, decided the restriction would be in place till May 23 and the urgent matters would continue to be heard by video conferencing.
Lawyers of all district courts here are likely to march from Patiala House Court to India Gate on Wednesday, Dhir Singh Kasana, general secretary of the coordination committee of the All-District Courts Bar Associations, said.
