In line with Delhi Lieutenant Governor Sardar Taranjit Singh Sandhu's directions for a Green and Clean Delhi, the Delhi Development Authority (DDA) held the first stakeholder consultation workshop in the run-up to the Yamuna Dialogues.
The LG has consistently stressed seamless cooperation between all concerned stakeholders since taking over.
The Delhi Development Authority’s Advisory Council, in a meeting chaired by Lieutenant Governor Taranjit Sandhu, took stock of the challenges confronting the national capital’s urban landscape, including housing shortages, traffic congestion, water security, and other issues.
Chief Minister Rekha Gupta, chairing a high-level meeting at the Delhi Secretariat on Tuesday on the colonies located in the O-Zone area, said sought clarification from senior DDA officials on the matter.
During the meeting, LG along with all concerned senior officers of DDA went into details of the civil and electrical works, procurements and mandatory clearances required for the projects
The flats are being allotted on the basis of a random number generation system under the supervision of a panel consisting of retired judges and senior DDA officials.
The authority also approved reduction of permission charges for usage of additional activity under the educational category plots.
