Union Minister of Commerce and Industry Piyush Goyal on Monday held a virtual meeting with Canada's Minister of International Trade Maninder Sidhu to advance discussions on the proposed India-Canada Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement (CEPA).
This will be his third official visit to India since assuming office as President of the UAE, and fifth over the past decade.
India and the UAE successfully concluded the third meeting of the Joint Committee under the India–UAE Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement (CEPA) in New Delhi.
The meeting marked the second between the two leaders this year, underscoring the growing momentum in their Special Strategic Partnership.
Dr Yadav stated that CEPA provides a strong economic foundation and that Madhya Pradesh is ready to fully leverage this partnership to open new avenues for investment, trade, and technological collaboration.
He along with Canada's Minister of International Trade, Export Promotion, Small Business and Economic Development Mary Ng will co-chair the discussions for dialogue in Ottawa.
