Sharing details of his meeting with Yogi Adityanath, the chairman of 16th Finance Commission Chairman said the UP CM has submitted a memorandum urging the Centre to raise Uttar Pradesh’s share in Central taxes from 41% to 50%.
The AAP leader discusses central funds, central tax share for the development of national capital with Sitharaman.
The CM said that the topography of the state was difficult and construction and maintenance cost of capital assets like roads, health and educational institutions, irrigation and water supply schemes and electrification was very high.
