The announcement regarding the hike in MSP for kharif crops for Marketing Season 2026-27 is in line with the Union Budget 2018-19 announcement of fixing the MSP at a level of at least 1.5 times of the all-India weighted average cost of production.
This 31.42-km-long project corridor will provide direct and high-speed connectivity from South Delhi, Faridabad and Gurugram to Jewar International Airport, thereby promoting economic growth and logistics efficiency across the National Capital Region (NCR).
These projects include Sainthia–Pakur 4th line and Santragachi–Kharagpur 4th line. The total estimated cost of the projects is Rs 4,474 crore and will be completed up to 2030-31
The total capital cost of the project is Rs 1,878.31 crore.
The North Koel Reservoir Project is an inter-State major irrigation project with command area lying in the two States of Bihar and Jharkhand.

The scheme covers about 11.80 crore children studying in 11.20 lakh schools across the country. Earlier known as the Mid Day Meal Scheme, the scheme provides one hot cooked food to children studying in Classes I to VIII of Government and Government-Aided Schools.
"Doubling of the section will increase the capacity and as a result, more traffic can be introduced on the system and help in the all-round development of Saurashtra region," a Railway ministry note later claimed.
