CM to open govt cancer hospital in Burdwan

On Wednesday, state’s principal secretary (health), Narayan Swarup Nigam, accompanied by senior health official Kaushik Bhattacharya made an inspection of the cancer hospital. Dr Kaustabh Nayek, principal of the Burdwan Medical College and Hospital, said, “The chief minister will inaugurate the outdoor section of the dedicated cancer hospital on 2 February and the remaining facilities of the state-of-theart hospital will continue coming up one after another, in phases.”
