Under the Navnera project, based on the Navnera Barrage on the Kali Sindh river in the Digod region of Kota district, one intake pump house, three water treatment plants, 14 treated-water ponds and 137 elevated water tanks will be constructed.
The reserve has a total area of 1501.89 sqkm including a core area of 481.90 sq km and a buffer of 1019.98 sqkm, according to the notification.
