The Bhutan Prime Minister reached Ayodhya Airport from Gayaji in Bihar by a special Indian Air Force plane as per his scheduled programme at 9:30 am.
He will reach Bihar from Bhutan on September 3 before embarking on a journey to Ayodhya on September 5. During his stay in Ayodhya, he will visit and worship Lord Shri Ramlala, Hanumangarhi, and major temples of Ayodhya.
The invitation was extended during a special business event hosted by the Assam Government in Thimphu, coinciding with Bhutan’s 117th National Day celebrations on December 17.
Tobgay, who was the Prime Minister of Bhutan from 2013 to 2018, is married to Tashi Dolma, who has accompanied him on many of his official foreign trips, including a visit to India in 2015.
