Chandigarh zoo’s ‘cool’ summer menu: Ice cubes for bears, Glucon-D water, watermelon for monkeys and elephants
Under the guidance of Forest and Wildlife Preservation Minister Lal Chand Kataruchak, the zoo is providing 100 kg of ice cubes daily to each bear throughout the summer season in order to combat heat stress.
