Shortly after the result of the 2025 Vice-Presidential election was declared, he extended warm wishes to NDA's CP Radhakrishnan after he was elected the 15th Vice President of India.
CP Radhakrishnan secured 452 first preference votes in the Vice-Presidential Election against his INDIA bloc rival B Sudershan Reddy, who got 300 votes.
