The divisional railway office of Sealdah has sent a proposal to the city traffic police with recommendations to improve the vehicular volume in the circulating area in front of the main building at Sealdah railway station.
Many redevelopment initiatives have been planned at the Subzi Mandi Railway Station of Delhi Division under the 'Amrit Bharat Station' scheme, an official said on Tuesday.
The scheme envisages the development of stations on a continuous basis with a long-term vision. It is based on master planning for long-term and implementation of the elements of the master plan as per the needs and patronage of the station.
