The training programme focused on providing participants with intensive practical exposure, live clinical demonstrations, and in-depth insights into the specialised para-surgical Ayurvedic therapies of Agnikarma and Rakta-Mokshana.
The programme was inaugurated by senior Ayurveda practitioner Vaidya Devendra Triguna, who spoke on the need to adapt traditional practices for contemporary health challenges.
The rally was flagged off from the AIIA Campus by Prof (Dr) Pradeep Kumar Prajapati, Director, AIIA. The occasion was graced by the former Director (I/C), Prof (Dr) Manjusha Rajgopala, along with Heads of Departments, faculty members, postgraduate and PhD scholars, and staff.
Prataprao Jadhav, Union Minister of State (Independent Charge), Ministry of Ayush, and Minister of State for Health and Family Welfare, will chair the summit on September 3-4.
The All-India Institute of Ayurveda (AIIA), New Delhi, is organising Shalyacon 2025, a three-day national seminar from 13-15 July on the occasion of Sushruta Jayanti.
The Minister made the announcement during his visit to the All ndia Institute of Ayurveda (AIIA) here on Friday .
The MoU was signed by AIIA Director Prof Tanuja Nesari, and Joint Registrar of Amity University Asha Premnath on Thursday, it said.
Sushruta Jayanti is celebrated every year on July 15 to honour the legendary Sushruta, considered the father of surgery.
AIIA has also been designated as COVID-19 testing centre (RT-PCR and Rapid antigen testing) by Government of Delhi.
