Former India head coach Ravi Shastri has questioned the decision to rest pace spearhead Jasprit Bumrah for the second Test of the Anderson-Tendulkar Trophy at Edgbaston, calling it “a little surprising” given the significance of the match.
Raj Bhavan said in a statement that the Governor didn't attend the programme because there was no invitation, adding that there was no other reason.
While BRS minister accused Dr Tamilisai Soundararajan of deliberately skipping the event, the Raj Bhavan alleged that she was not invited to the programme.
