According to the police, the incident occurred on Wednesday night, when a police team went to the Janakpur village to arrest the accused Ankit Gurjar.
The CBI said the accused had been absconding since the filing of the charge sheet in 2009. The case was registered by the CBI in 2007 based on source information.
The ghastly incident occurred under the jurisdiction of the Ghamaur police station.
