While RCB sit comfortably at the top of the points table and are pushing for a direct entry into the final, Delhi Capitals find themselves in a must-win situation. Placed second from bottom, DC are fighting to keep their playoff hopes alive. Another loss could seriously dent their chances, whereas a win would throw them back into the mid-table playoff race.

Delhi Capitals come into the contest on the back of a confidence-boosting win against Mumbai Indians, while RCB are well-rested after a four-day break. The encounter sets up a classic battle between a team in red-hot form and another searching for consistency at a crucial stage of the tournament.
