Rohit would ‘love’ to play Test series against Pakistan in neutral venue
Bilateral cricket between India and Pakistan has been put on hold since Misbah-ul-Haq’s team last toured India to play a three-match ODI series way back in 2012-13.
After clinching a 3-1 victory over a young West Indies team at the Greenfield International Stadium in Thiruvananthapuram on Thursday, Indian cricket team celebrated their ninth consecutive win over the Carribean outfit in style.
On Thursday, the Men-in-Blue registered an empthatic 9 wickets victory over the Windies side in the last match of five-match One Day International series.
The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) on Thursday uploaded a video of Virat Kohli’s boys’ celebrations at the hotel after the match and captioned it, “Back at the team hotel after an early wrap and it is time to celebrate.”

In the video shared by BCCI on their official Twitter page, former Indian skipper MS Dhoni can be seen playing a prank on vice-captain Rohit Sharma with the help of all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja.
Dhoni asked Jadeja to pop a balloon near Mumbai batsman and after Rohit Sharam was left startled, the duo was left in splits by his reaction.
After winning the toss, Windies skipper Jason holder decided to bat first and soon his decision backfired as the home team bundled the visitor for 104 runs. Following the paltry target of 105 runs, Rohit Sharma scored his 37th ODI fifty as Indian chased down the target with utmost ease.
The win was also Virat Kohli -led India’s sixth successive ODI series win on home soil.
India will next take on West Indies for three-match T20I series for which regular skipper Virat Kohli has been rested. In Virat’s absence, Rohit Sharma will lead the Indian squad.
