Tourists, locals pay tributes to 40 CRPF martyrs in Pulwama
They showered flower petals at the spot on the Jammu-Srinagar highway where a suicide bomber hit his explosives-laden car into a convoy of CRPF killing 40 troops.
Former India swashbuckling opener Virender Sehwag on Wednesday made the fans emotional after sharing pictures of two children, who belong to the families of soldiers killed in the terror attack in Pulwama.
In the pictures, the kids were seen training at the Sehwag International School.
“Son of Heroes! What a privilege to be able to have these two at Sehwag School and have the fortune to contribute to their lives. Batsman – Arpit Singh s/o Pulwama Shaheed Ram Vakeel and Bowler- Rahul Soreng s/o Pulwama Shaheed Vijay Soreng. Few things can beat this happiness!” Sehwag tweeted.

Replying to the post, a fan wrote: “Thank you Very Paaji for your contributions to the society. (sic)”
Praising Sehwag’s efforts, another fan tweeted: “Salute to u sehvag Bhai, great work, gud luck. (sic)”
“Sir, so good to see what u r giving back to the society. Specially, our soldiers r never given their due credit. This is at least a step in the right direction forward, (sic) ” a fan wrote on the microblogging website.
Calling Sehwag a ‘true hero’, another fan said: “Sir, you are also a true hero because you are taking care of heroes sons. (sic)”
“Sir, you are a great person and doing a great job, therefore we salute you, (sic)” another user joined in.
Over 40 CRPF personnel were martyred in a terror attack in South Kashmir’s Pulwama district on 14 February.
